Daryl Gross is happy Lane Kiffin was fired

As reported pretty much everywhere (TNIAAM, Axeman, Idiots, Orange Squeeze, and of course haslanekiffinbeenfired.com), Lane Kiffin was released by the Oakland Raiders. Kiffin will have a press conference today. Some suspect that Daryl Gross, who said that Lane would be near the top of any shortlist for any Syracuse vacancy, will be present at the press conference to announce that Kiffin is the new head coach at Syracuse (before Donnie Webb goes ballistic on me as well, this is complete fabrication).
